The Old Pete Hegseth in 2016 said Unlawful Orders in the Military should NOT be followed
Will the real Pete Hegseth please stand up? The old Pete Hegseth said unlawful orders in the military should not be followed. The new one, today, wants to go after the Democrats who put an ad saying the same thing. It seems like when these guys are out of power, they agree that unlawful orders should not be followed because it hurts the other tribe, but when they get into power, it's then considered an act of sedition or treason. How about we just agree that unlawful orders should NEVER be followed. How about we point at the Nuremberg Trials that, "I was just doing my job," or "I was just following orders," was NOT a credible defense? Can we just start doing that? Many of us who are over the age of about 30 learned this in public schools, especially when we studied World War 2.
